The ceramic dome is a key part of filtration of your Alps Water Filter. It completes the first stage of the filtration process.

Our Ceramic Dome Filter (0.2 micron) made from Diatomaceous Earth, purifies water from rust, dust, sand, silt and bacteria such as cholera, typhoid and coliforms.

Requires replacement every 6 months, with proper care and maintenance.
